One of the most famous temples is Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple which is dedicated to Hindu God Lord Shiv. This temple is situated at Dasaswamedh Ghat in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India and it is near to the holy Ganga river. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple is one of the Twelve Jyotirlingas in the World which is the holiest of Shiv Temples.

Hindu God Shiv’s and Vishnu’s other names are Shri Vishwanath and Vishweshwara. The meaning of these names is Lord of the Universe.
In Ancient Times, Varanasi city call as Kashi. That’s why Vishwanath Temple calls as Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple or Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
